I have a passion for bringing excitement into design in ways that haven't been done before (or often because what is really new these days?). Our guests went on a journey between the smoke and mirrors to learn what it really takes to produce high end destination weddings. This design centers around transitioning from the pieces of the industry where we obscure what the truth is in order to preserve a picture perfect appearance, the smoke, into a time of deep self reflection, the mirror, to find out if we really have what it takes to create real and lasting success.
 
In Trusted Company is not just about being inspired by what you will see but how you will feel, interact, and connect with the space around you. The power to foster deeper connections, it's what we all long for in this industry that thrives on strong bonds. Building a strong network has been one of the most transformative parts of my career. Connecting with other talented professionals in this industry has not only inspired me but has also created strong and lasting friendships with people who are going through similar phases in their business. Having friends, mentors, and accountability from networking has upleveled my business faster and to a place I never would have gotten on my own. Austin's In Trusted Company event was an inspiring day of ideas, creativity, and meaningful conversations.

In the world of destination events one of the most critical elements to ensure success is smooth, efficient, and seamless logistics. This was the topic of an engaging panel discussion titled “Devising Seamless Experiences Across Borders: Insights into Logistics and Local Expertise for Destination Events,” featuring leaders from the wedding industry. These experts shared their valuable insights into how to overcome the challenges of organizing destination weddings while highlighting the importance of local expertise to ensure flawless execution. We loved bringing together our Hosts of seasoned professionals who have successfully navigated the complexities of organizing events across multiple locations and countries. As destination weddings continue to grow in popularity, the conversation became an essential resource for wedding industry professionals who are keen on expanding their services internationally. On March 3rd, the wedding industry's brightest minds gathered at the Austin Proper Hotel for the inaugural In Trusted Company dinner—an evening designed to inspire, connect, and challenge perceptions. As the first of three signature events in 2025, the Austin dinner set the tone for what ITC is all about: meaningful conversations, intentional networking, and transformative experiences.

From the moment guests stepped into the venue, they were enveloped in an atmosphere of elegance and depth, guided by the evening’s theme: Smoke and Mirrors. This concept—brought to life by Creative Director Amy Kuntz—invited guests to look beyond the illusions of perfection often portrayed in the industry. Through thought-provoking design elements and candid discussions, the night unfolded as an exploration of authenticity in the world of luxury weddings.

Designing an experience beyond illusion Amy Kuntz’s vision for Smoke and Mirrors was nothing short of spectacular. Inspired by the artistry of the Austin Proper’s esteemed designer, Kelly Wearstler, and the layered realities of the wedding industry, the design incorporated symbolic elements throughout the evening. Guests walked through a mirror tunnel to move from the first portion of the event to the next, a striking photo moment that encouraged them to break through industry perceptions. The antique mirror panel backdrop served as a visual metaphor for the ‘smoke’ of misleading industry narratives, which was dismantled by the panelists’ honest insights on destination weddings.

From oval tables resembling chain links (a nod to breaking free from limiting beliefs) to mirrored stage elements prompting self-reflection, every detail carried intention. Even the vibrant yellow floral arrangements were carefully chosen—to spark curiosity and excitement for fresh beginnings.

The evening’s panel discussion, Devising Seamless Experiences Across Borders, brought together experts who understand the intricacies of destination weddings, the conversation cut through the illusions surrounding international events—dispelling the notion that they are simply glamorous vacations and addressing the real challenges and logistics behind making them seamless.

Beyond the design and discussions, what made this evening truly special was the energy in the room. Carefully curated dinner seating fostered deeper conversations, while every touchpoint reinforced ITC’s mission—to cultivate a community that is both welcoming and thought-provoking.

Although ITC is a new venture, our dedicated team brings a wealth of experience, having collectively orchestrated over 300 B2B events across various sectors. Our portfolio includes a diverse range of gatherings, from large-scale trade shows and corporate events hosting over 1,000 participants to intimate and personalized meetings designed for wedding professionals. With a robust and skilled team at the helm, we are fully equipped and committed to delivering exceptional experiences that foster meaningful connections among our guests.
