Based in Las Cruces, New Mexico, Mia designs weddings and events throughout the Southwest,
drawing inspiration from the landscapes, people, and stories that make each celebration unique. She started Sunny Side Events because she has always been drawn to creating meaningful experiences and bringing people together. What began as a creative outlet quickly grew into a passion for designing events that feel intentional, personal, and memorable. As a creative director, she finds inspiration in unexpected places—architecture, travel, art, fashion,
interiors, and the natural beauty of the Southwest. She believes the best designs tell a story and create a feeling, not just a beautiful photograph. Every event is an opportunity to create something
unique, layered, and deeply personal to the people being celebrated. Her goal is to create moments that foster connection, leave a lasting impression, and reflect the people at the heart of the celebration.
