In a one-on-one session that our team has affectionally dubbed a “woke audit”, ITC’s very own Director of Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging, Amber Marlow, will consider your website copy, marketing materials, social media, and anything else you’d like to help you develop a language of inclusivity. 
You’ll learn best practices for working with and speaking to diverse clients, including cultural norms you might encounter as you level up and expand your business that you might not have considered. You'll also learn the best ways to find the answer when you're in a new situation and want to be gracious (the answer is NOT "ask ChatGPT").
One of your key takeaways will be clear, quiet ways to signal that your business and your mindset are welcoming without having to shout "I AM INCLUSIVE!" all over your website.
This will be your opportunity to ask any questions - even the awkward ones - about the queer and transgender communities, race, and pronouns in a confidential, non-judgemental setting. 
To maximize your one-on-one session, you’ll receive a pre-session questionnaire to complete so that you and Amber can jump right to the heart of your goals.
At the end of your session, you'll receive Amber’s extensive list of keywords and phrases commonly used in the wedding industry, along with inclusive replacements, to keep in your notebook and refer to whenever you need.

Guests who have attended, or are currently registered for a future ITC experience, are able to purchase a 1:1 session(s). Once a session is purchased, the professional will receive a receipt of purchase. You work directly with professional who are have purchased a session with to schedule your consultation.

You may be asked to fill out a questionnaire or provide a detailed summary of what you'd like to discuss, depending on which 1:1 session you select.
